Our Hounds

Magnum

Magnum is a 14 year old plott.  We run him on bear, bobcat and coyote.  He is a honest cold trailer but due to his age we are forced to leave him home more and more lately.

Blue

Blue is extremely fast on track and is always leading the pack he is in or with the leader.  He has a cold nose and does not over-mouth a cold track.  He has a long  bawl on the track which switches over to a coarse chop when treed. He is hunted on bear, coyote and bobcat. He has been known to catch coyotes with very little snow on the ground.  He is the kind of dog that one dreams of owning.

Jan

Jan is a bluetick x walker cross.  She is 8 years old and is a hard tree dog that will stay in a fight.    Jan is ran on bear, coyote, bobcat and coon.  She has a hard chop on tree.  Her first litter of pups are all doing very good for there age and show the qualities that all big game hounds should show.

Yooper is 13 months old and is pretty much going start to finish on bear. He has a loud scream while treeing that is kinda unique.  I have high hopes for him within the next couple years.  He started running coyotes when he was six months old.  He is out of the first Blue-Jan cross.
